Colortrac Code of Conduct
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to promote fair employment conditions, protect Human Rights, ensure a safe working environment,
manage environmental issues responsibly and adhere to high ethical standards, wherever we operate in the World. The Code will be applied in the
design, production, supply and support of Colortrac Products worldwide.
The Code of Conduct applies to all Colortrac employees and governs our relationship with all stakeholders, including suppliers, customers and the
environment in which we operate. All employees are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct, even if it stipulates a higher standard than required by
national laws or regulation.
Colortrac encourages Suppliers to embrace the objectives of the Code of Conduct or similar standards and to verify the same by providing information
and allowing access to premises.
Colortrac subscribes to the principle of continuous improvement and will verify compliance with the Code through Internal Audit. An annual report on
compliance will be available on our website.
Employees
- All employees will have fair and reasonable terms and conditions of employment which they can understand and which comply with minimum national
standards including working hours, minimum wage etc., or with industry standards, whichever is the higher.
- No person will be employed below the legal minimum age for employment, or 15 years, whichever is higher, and no child below the age of 18 shall be
employed for any hazardous work or work which is inconsistent with the child’s personal development. The best interests of the child will be the primary
consideration.
- Forced labour will not be used and all employees will be free to leave their employment following reasonable notice. No employee will be required to
deposit money or identity papers with their employer.
- All employees will be treated with respect and dignity. Verbal and physical abuse or any other form of harassment or intimidation will not be tolerated.
- Equality of opportunity and diversity within the workplace will be encouraged. No form of discrimination on grounds of race, ethnicity, sex, sexual
orientation, marital or parental status, age, disability or membership of a trade union will be permitted. Within each country it will be expected that
employees with the same experience, qualifications and performance receive equal pay.
- All employees will be free to join a trade union or similar collective bargaining organisation.
- A healthy and safe working environment will be provided in accordance with national laws. All employees will receive health and safety training relevant
for the tasks they undertake and where necessary will be provided with protective clothing and equipment. Appropriate welfare facilities will be provided at
all operational sites including adequate toilet, food storage and cooking facilities and rest and recreation areas.
Environment
- We will use finite resources carefully.
- We will promote practices which reduce the environmental burden of our actives.
- We will support innovative developments in products and services that can offer environmental and social benefits.
Individual Conduct
- All employees are expected to act with honesty, integrity and fairness.
- No form of bribery or extortion, including improper offers or payments to or from employees will be tolerated.
- All employees must comply with applicable laws, standards and principles relating to anti-corruption.
- All employees are expected to avoid contacts which may lead to or suggest a conflict of interest between their personal interests and those of Colortrac.
- All employees are expected to avoid acceptance of hospitality or gifts which may put them under an obligation
- Colortrac will protect the confidentiality of whistleblowers.
Our Business Ethics
- We will ensure that business, financial and accounting records are prepared accurately in accordance with regulations.
- We will guarantee fair and transparent procurement procedures for our suppliers, fostering competition wherever possible.
- We will provide truthful and accurate marketing information on all our products.
- We will ensure third party intellectual property rights are properly protected and any transference of technology or know how is properly documented.
